JΛИ◉ (JANO) is an Italian electronic artist playing HiTekno: 175 BPM free-party tekno, performed fully live and solo in Ableton. It is a DJ-sized setup with far more live interaction than a DJ set. Loops are bent, drums are pushed, and every set is reshaped on the spot by the room. No two sets are the same.
The HiTekno live set debuted at Tunz Tunz Camp, a private open air in Italy. JΛИ◉ is also a curious, proudly nerdy musician: Bach turned into tekno, and metal riffs, soundtracks and videogame music degraded “until a few bits remain”.

JΛИ◉ (JANO) è un artista elettronico italiano che suona HiTekno: tekno da free party a 175 BPM, suonata completamente dal vivo e in solo in Ableton. L'ingombro è quello di un DJ, ma l'interazione dal vivo è molto maggiore. Loop piegati, cassa spinta, ogni set rimodellato sul momento insieme alla pista. Nessun set è uguale a un altro.
Il live HiTekno ha debuttato al Tunz Tunz Camp, open air privato in Italia. JΛИ◉ è anche un musicista curioso e orgogliosamente nerd: Bach trasformato in tekno, e riff metal, colonne sonore e musica dei videogiochi degradati “finché restano pochi bit”.
